Nine members of the Fermilab Society of Women Engineers (fSWE) group functioned as an assembly line, packing meals for children in 3rd world countries. They packed rice, soy, dried vegetables, and protein into bags that will be shipped worldwide. During the 1.5-hour session, volunteers (including fSWE) packed 62 boxes, which equals 13,392 meals! That is enough to feed 36 children for an entire year. fSWE looks forward to future volunteer efforts with Feed My Starving Children.
